Composition in grey and off-white loosely based on a figurative scene; it is perhaps best described as being inspired by a figurative scene. An inverted triangle rests with its tip balancing on another upright triangle in front of a network of straight, black lines. These triangles loosely resemble a simplified version of the human form. Two boxed-off sections to the lower-centre of the image encase grid-like structures, one with black lines and one in black with filled lime green and red sections. This composition is contained within a squashed rectangle shape. The background is in purple with a dark aubergine-coloured rectangle to the right, and a light grey smaller rectangle to the left. The paint is thickly applied (often called impasto) and the style of painting is distinctly cubist.
