View along the River Medway, trees lining both banks on either side reflected in the clear still water below. Single rowing boat moored by grassy bank in the foreground to the left, a second boat is moored further along the opposite bank to the right. A single figure in a punt is moving away from the right bank in the background. There are houses just visible amongst trees where the river bends round to the left.
