Realist painter who specialised in portraits, born and based in London. He graduated in film studies at Kent University, then from 1993 was a working artist with no formal training. Took part in a number of mixed exhibitions, including BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery, which holds his work; RP at Mall Galleries; Blains Fine Art (later Haunch of Venison); Election Art, House of Commons; and Eleven. He had a solo show, Sketchbook, at Eleven in 2006. Figurations, by Nick Hackworth, 2005, includes work by Yeo. This was also in the collections of the House of Commons, the prime minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie; Dennis Hopper; and Rupert Murdoch. Yeo belonged to the Chelsea Arts and Groucho Clubs.
