Marine painter who had a career as a Naval officer. Born in Belfast, he was educated at HMS Britannia, Dartmouth, gaining his artistic education in St Ives and Malta. Exhibited with RSMA, of which he was a founder-member, St Ives Art Society, RA and RSA. Sunderland Art Gallery holds his work. He lived at Ship Studio, St Ives, Cornwall, and was the husband of painter Kathleen Bradshaw.
