Artist in mixed media and teacher whose work was tinged with a unique wit. Born in Aberdeen, where he became a lecturer at Gray’s School of Art, Bushe completed his degree and postgraduate diploma in painting at Edinburgh College of Art, graduating in 1990. Quickly had a series of solo exhibitions, won two awards in RSA shows and was included in 1993 Thompson’s Gallery exhibition Contemporary Art From Scotland. Edinburgh College of Art, Edinburgh City Council and RSA hold examples.
