Painter, draughtsman and printmaker notable for fantastic landscapes, born in London. He studied at Chelsea and Falmouth Schools of Art, 1982–6. Won many awards, including a French Consul National Studentship at L’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, in Paris; a residency at the Cité-Internationale des Arts, also in Paris; and a Commonwealth University Scholarship to Baroda University, India. As well as being included in many group shows, Cazalet showed solo at Arts Centre Group, Waterloo, and at Gallery 7 in Bombay, but his first major exhibition in London was at Christopher Hull Gallery, 1992. Later solo exhibitions included Six Chapel Row, Bath, 2001.
