Artist who studied fine art at Portsmouth Polytechnic, where she began a systematic and constructive approach to her work. From 1978, she inquired into quantitative and qualitative colour relations in paintings, drawings and prints. Charlett’s work was included in The House Construction Show, 1981; in Colour Presentations, Gardner Centre Gallery, Sussex University, and tour, 1986; and Complexions, at Galerie L’Idee, Zoetermeer, Netherlands, and Dean Clough, Halifax, 1989. Arts Council holds her work. From 1979 she lived in London.
