Painter, born in Sidcup, Kent, who was married to the artist Cosmo Clark. She studied at Sidcup School of Art, 1913-19, and Royal Academy Schools, 1920, in 1937 at Richard Sickert School of Painting, Broadstairs. Was made a member of RWS in 1972, and she had a retrospective at Bankside Gallery in 1983; also an honorary member of NEAC, 1981. Additionally exhibited at RBA and NEAC. Completed murals for Corpus Christi Church in Weston-super-Mare and ceiling painting for Woodford Green United Free Church. Lived in London, later in Shottisham, but dying in Saxtead, Suffolk. Chappel Galleries, Chappel, held a joint Jean and Cosmo Clark show in 2002.
