Artist in various media, born in New Zealand. Studied at Elam School of Art in Auckland, Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney and in London at Grosvenor School of Modern Art. Was made a member of the Society of Industrial Artists in 1946, next year joining the Society of Mural Painters. Showed widely, including RA, Council of Industrial Design, Imperial Institute as well as in Australia and New Zealand. British Museum, Imperial War Museum and overseas collections hold his work. Lived in London for many years.
