Watercolour and oil painter and teacher, born in West Tanfield, Yorkshire. After initial education in London she studied at the Westminster School of Art under William Mouat Loudan, then in Paris. She exhibited SWA, Goupil Gallery, with the St Ives Society of Artists and at the Paris Salon. While living in Cornwall was a justice of the peace, retiring just after World War II. Then lived at Nailsworth, near Stroud, in Gloucestershire.
