Sculptor and teacher, born in Oxford. Studied at Bath Academy of Art, 1966–70, then St Martin’s School of Art, 1971–3. In 1972 she began teaching at Norwich School of Art, at St Martin’s in 1975, later joining the City Lit. Gili began to exhibit in mixed shows in the early 1970s, at Museum of Modern Art in Oxford; Chelsea Gallery; Norwich Cathedral; Stockwell Depot; and in Silver Jubilee Contemporary British Sculpture Exhibition, Battersea Park, 1977. Later appearances included Yorkshire Sculpture Park at Bretton Hall in 1983, when she also took part in Have You Seen Sculpture from the Body? at Woodlands Art Gallery. Had a solo show at Salander/O’Reilly Gallery, New York, 1981, and shared an exhibition with Graham Boyd at The Charterhouse Gallery, 1994.
