Painter and teacher who studied at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic, 1981–4, then Royal Academy Schools, 1984–7. Among her awards were an Italian Government Scholarship to Rome, 1989–90. From 1983 she took part in many mixed exhibitions including Stowells Trophy, Tyne Tees Northern Open, Whitworth Young Contemporaries, Camden Annual Exhibition, RA Summer Exhibition and The Broad Horizon, at Agnew, 1990. She had a solo show at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic Gallery, 1989; Blason Gallery, 1991; and Cadogan Contemporary, 1993. Between 1990–2 she was a visiting tutor at Hertfordshire College of Art and Design. Lived in London.
