Miniatures painter and printmaker, born in Liverpool. He studied at Liverpool School of Art, under Sir Hubert von Herkomer at his School of Art at Bushey, Hertfordshire, 1892–4, then at Chelsea Polytechnic. Exhibited RA and Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. British Museum holds his work. Lived at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.
