Painter and illustrator. Studied at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, 1918–20, then at Westminster School of Art for four years under Walter Bayes. Exhibited RSMA, RA, IS, Goupil Gallery and NEAC. The Admiralty bought his work in 1945, and eight years later he did decorations for the P&O liner Arcadia. Lived in Richmond, Surrey, where in 1951 he was president of the Art Group.
