Painter and muralist who trained at Berkshire College of Art, 1985–6, gained an honours degree in fine art, Trent Polytechnic, 1986–9, and a fine art diploma from the Royal Academy Schools, 1989–92. Murals included Bristol Royal Society for the Blind and Bermondsey Council, both 1993. In 1994 he was commissioned to create ultra-violet paintings for the singer Grace Jones’s birthday party at The Tunnel Club, New York, America. Mixed shows included Mall Galleries, 1991; RA Summer Exhibition, 1994; and The Hunting Art Prizes, at Royal College of Art, 1997, where Huxley gained the Most Popular Painting prize. Had solo shows at Crane Kalman Gallery: 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2005, notable for pictures of figures in motion that were spontaneous, witty and vibrant.
