Painter, sister of the international art dealer Kapil Jariwala. Influences “ranged from the Italian Renaissance paintings of Piero della Francesca and Sandro Botticelli through to Kalighat and Mughal art of India.” Group exhibitions included Horizon Gallery, 1991; Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, and tour, 1991–2; British Council, Manchester, 1994; and Graves Art Gallery, Sheffield, 1998. Had solo shows at Turnpike Gallery, Leigh, and Commonwealth Institute, both 1991; City Museum and Art Gallery, Stoke-on-Trent, 1992; Rochdale Art Gallery, 1995; and Captured Moments, Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Birmingham, 2001–2, which drew inspiration from the collection there. She lived in Harborne, Birmingham
