Painter, born in Milngavie, Dunbartonshire, who studied at Glasgow School of Art. He was an extensive exhibitor at Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and RSA, also showing at RA, RHA, RSW and Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Was a member of Glasgow Art Club who lived Barnhill, Angus.
