Painter and teacher, born in Penzance, Cornwall. She studied at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham, 1949–52, her teachers including Peter Lanyon and William Scott. Her landscapes show influence of both teachers, tending towards an abstract simplicity. She taught in London before marriage. Showed at Leicester Galleries, RSA, Plymouth City Art Gallery, abroad, and was included in RWA Artists from Cornwall exhibition in 1992. Had solo exhibitions at Newlyn Orion Gallery, Penzance, 1974; The Queen’s Gallery, Penzance, 1988; and Lanigan Fine Arts, 1990. Cornwall County Council holds her work.
