Painter of semi-abstract and representational pictures, also interested in printmaking and working with text, born in Hartlepool, County Durham. He studied at Byam Shaw School and Chelsea College of Art. One of Marine’s interests was art in the public sector, concerned with mental health, residencies at galleries and running workshops in schools. In 1996 he began collaborating full-time with Christine Relton on paintings for exhibition and commission. Marine showed in Yorkshire, where he lived in Leeds, and in London, including Battersea Contemporary Art Fair, 2002 and later, and Affordable Art Fair 2006. Marine’s and Relton’s images were published worldwide through Winn Devon Publishing, in America.
