Painter and teacher, born in London. He attended Tottenham Grammar School, then Hornsey School of Art, 1930. Was a founder-member of Wood Green Art Society who went to teach in Somerset, settling in Crewkerne. Was a member of NS, also showing at RBA, RSMA and RP.
