Painter whose expressive, romantic and imaginative landscapes and figurative paintings were in the Fauve and Scottish Colourist tradition, work compared to that of the Russian-born artist Wassily Kandinsky. She studied at Glasgow School of Art in the 1960s, then exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions, especially in Scotland. Duncan Campbell Fine Art gave her a solo exhibition in 2003. Lived in a remote Dumfriesshire farmhouse, the Kinnel Valley being the font of her inspiration.
