Landscape painter and teacher, born in Londonderry, studying at St Mary’s College, Belfast, 1953–7. He went on to teach at Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock, Belfast. Showed from 1975 with RUA and from 1983 with RHA. Had a one-man show with Keys Gallery, Londonderry, 1981; other solo exhibitions included Narrow Water Gallery, Warrenpoint, 1989, and Eakin Gallery, Belfast, 1990, and in 1992 shared a show at Mistral Galleries. Work is held by the National Self-Portrait Collection of Ireland at the University of Limerick.
