Painter, born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, who graduated in painting and obtained her master’s in fine art from Chelsea College of Art and Design, 1990–4. Reeves’ paintings were developed from drawings and doodles using bold, bright colours; she achieved a strong graphic impact similar to cartoon imagery, although the works stayed close to abstraction. Mixed shows included Blaffer Gallery, Houston, Texas, 1992; Top Marks, the London Institute of Higher Education (which holds her work) and Isis Gallery, both 1993; Dad, Gasworks Gallery, 1994; Royal Over-Seas League Open, in which she won a prize, 1996; Connaught Brown, 1997; and Amber, Laure Genillard Gallery, 2000. She had a solo show at Royal Over-Seas League, 1999. Lived in London.
