Artist and illustrator, born in Salisbury, Wiltshire, but based in London. She did a foundation course at Central School of Art & Design, 1984–5; graduated with honours in graphic design from St Martin’s School of Art, 1985–8; then did a postgraduate diploma in illustration, Edinburgh College of Art, 1988–9. Rogers became a freelance illustrator with a range of premier clients, including The Independent, for which she illustrated Christopher Hirst’s The Weasel column, and its Sunday sister paper; also The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph; The Guardian; The Scotsman; The New Yorker; publishers including Penguin Books, Random House, Fourth Estate and Bloomsbury; as well as the Savoy Group; Waterstone’s; Habitat; Conran Holdings; The Post Office; British Airways; The National Theatre; and Natural History Museum.
