Figurative painter who attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts. Works by the artist were included in the Whitechapel Open, Whitechapel Art Gallery, 1988; The South Bank Picture Show, Royal Festival Hall, 1988–9; Inner Language, Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, and tour, 1988–90; and East End Open Studios, with Barbican Arts Group, 1989. Thomas’s enigmatic pastel on paper Grieving and acrylic on paper The Voyagers, both of 1984, are in the Arts Council collection.
