Painter and draughtsman, born in Lincolnshire, who studied at Grimsby and Camberwell Schools of Art, 1982–5, gaining his master’s at Royal Academy Schools, 1985–8. Group exhibitions included the RA Summer Exhibition from 1986 and Agnew, 1990, in The Broad Horizon. Among Todd Warmoth’s awards were Best Interior Painting, the RA Summer Exhibition, 1991, and a prize at The Discerning Eye, Mall Galleries, 1992. From 1994 he had a series of solo shows at New Grafton Gallery, including works stemming from visits to India. Others included Motcomb Street Gallery, 1999, and Landscapes & People of Cuba and Guatemala at Kings Road Gallery in 2003. HRH The Prince of Wales, the politician Sir Chris Patten and the actress Felicity Kendal were notable private collectors of Todd Warmoth’s work, which was also held by the London Transport Museum and several corporate collections.
