Artist born in Ayr, sister of the painter James Wright. She studied at Glasgow School of Art, 1902–8, and in 1919 visited France and joined the Glasgow Society of Lady Artists. She exhibited extensively with the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts and RSA, also with Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Wright contributed to the Pilgrim Trust’s Recording Scotland project. She lived for many years in Gourock, Renfrewshire, where she died.
