Painter, stained glass designer and teacher. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art, 1951–3, and at Central School of Arts and Crafts, 1957–60, winning awards that enabled him to study on the continent. Taught at Chelsea School of Art and London College of Printing. Showed with Young Contemporaries and at Rowan and Gimpel Fils Galleries. Arts Council bought his abstract oil on canvas Extension I, of 1958. Young was included in Masterpieces of the Avantgarde at Annely Juda Fine Art/Juda Rowan Gallery in 1985. Lived in London.
