This choreographic work by Susanna Heron was an integral part of the Brunswick Centre's refurbishment by Patrick Hodgkinson (1930–2016) and Levitt Bernstein (founded 1968) in 2006. It is located on the central axis of the site, punctuated by trees and introducing natural elements of flowing water and reflected light to the space. The sculpture comprises a series of obliquely angled, folded stainless steel troughs. The folded steel reduced the need for welds, resulting in a continuous structural surface and smooth curves to lean over. These invented objects have the characteristics of something utilitarian and industrial. They rest under their own weight, their surfaces unrefined. Water is channelled towards a large rectangular pool at the junction between the cinema and the central space.
