Buddha is in dhyanasana posture, his hands rest palms upward, and the left hand unusually above the right. The robes are a deep red with brighter red details along the borders. The face has been gilded, as have a few other areas, and partially worn away. The top of the head is black, and a large part of the surface plaster has cracked away.
