This painting is by an unknown artist from India. Circular painting on leather with a huntsman and a tiger. A hunter wearing a red jacket, black boots and a yellow turban on the left of the picture aims his rifle at a tiger devouring a white deer on the right. In the forgeorund are stylised representations of rocks and floral motifs; in the background a pattern of flowers spread at regular intervals across a green ground. A narrow strip representing the sky at the top. The whole encircled by a triple border consisting of floral motifs between two bands of narrow stripes.
