President Christian captioning the acts of Tynwald in the Royal Chapel at St John's on Tynwald Day, usually observed on 5 July. The acts are still, to this day, signed with a quill pen and this is the final part of the legislative process to bring acts into being on the Isle of Man following Royal ascent from her Majesty the Queen.
