Impressionistic view of Café Verrey on Regent Street, London. The painting focusses on a small table in one corner of the café. A tall mirror between two pillars behind the table reflects the ornate pendant light fitting above, and the tall sash window with stained glass panels to the right. The table has a jug of water on top of it as if about to be inhabited. The colours are fresh and bright, indicating there is a strong light flooding in from the window, this causes the room to glow in yellow and gold.
