Eleven arches are set around the perimeter of the fast food restaurant. Each arched inset is inlaid with tiles created by local school children, students and community members. The tiles commemorate the Alcock and Brown trans-atlantic crossing of 1919. The designs were transferred to tiles by the Bexley Learning and Enterprise Centre. The installation was part of a centenial celebration programme of community activities and projects.
