A landscape with sheep. In the centre of the picture are two trees growing on a craggy slope. The tree on the left is dead and leafless, the other is healthy. Besides them, positioned from the centre to the right, lies a fallen tree, its roots exposed. In the foreground are two sheep, with three more grazing at the bottom of a slope in the middle ground on the left. There are birds perched on the dead tree and in the sky. Evening is drawing in and there is the tinge of sunset in the sky on the left.
