A late nineteenth century square fountain canopy set in a triangular surround. A low outer walling originally supported railings and formed a triangular surround with the central opening to the north-west and cobbles set as paving. The eastern front of the canopy features square corner piers with roll moulds to the corners and moulded bases and with capitals formed by the splaying outwards of the columns at their tops.
