The second of two grotesque heads, similar in style to a 'Green Man'. The head was salvaged and removed from the Wood Green Empire when one of the theatre's facades was being demolished, years after its closure. The theatre was designed by Frank Matcham for Oswald Stoll. It had opened in 1912.
