The head of the Founder Robert Baden-Powell; he wears a wide-brimmed hat, scarf, wood beads, silver wolf and 1st Gilwell Park Group woggle, it is positioned on a plinth. In August 1907, 20 boys took part in an experimental camp which would lead to the creation of the world’s biggest youth movement. A professional soldier and national hero, Robert Baden-Powell had written a military manual called 'Aids to Scouting'.
