A 'head of a male carved in fine-grained white stone. This corbel head-stop (beneath the base for a small shaft) belongs to a group of figural carvings which may have been part of a reredos in the newly constructed Galilee Chapel. They all show great technical skill and resemble carvings in the same stone on the interior west wall of Wells Cathedral'.
