Painted lead statue group depicting a male statue standing beside a female figure who is seated on a naturalistically treated rocky base. Beside the rocky base, between the two figures a dog is standing with its right paw resting on the head of a boar. The boar's head is lying on the ground with its tongue hanging out. Both figures are portrayed in a classical manner, the male with drapery around his waist holds in his left hand a shepherd’s crook (the crook of which may be brass/bronze). The female figure wears a classical dress which has slipped from her left shoulder so exposing her breast. She holds the end of her bow in her left hand and has a quiver leant against the rockwork on which she is sitting. A prominent crescent moon (made of brass or bronze?), the attribute of Diana, is awkwardly placed on her head.
