Georgiana was painted in 1850, the year she married. She is not wearing a ring, so must still have been Miss Theobald when the portrait was painted. This is the third portrait Margaret Carpenter painted for the Theobald family, signing and dating it in 1850. Georgiana and her husband Charles Sabine Thellusson lived at Marlborough House, Brighton when they were first married, and had six children.
