A willow and steel perch commissioned by High Stile Projects as part of a community art trail in Great Dunmow. Ideas for the sculpture came from community conversations as part of an Art UK 'Sculpture Around You' education project. 'Perch' has a steel frame with a woven willow body. It has been given the local nickname of 'Lionel', after Lionel Lukin, a Dunmow resident who invented the first unsinkable lifeboat in 1784.
