A bronze bust of Percy Still, Joint Honorary Secretary of Royal Masonic Hospital. Still was one of the founders of the Royal Masonic Hospital, which opened in 1920 for Freemasons and their families. Along with two other Freemasons, it had been Still’s idea to build such a hospital in 1911. In 1922 he was made joint Honorary Secretary, a position he held for 35 years. A new wing named after him opened in 1976. In addition to his involvement with the hospital, Still was also appointed Senior Grand Deacon of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of Freemasonry in England and Wales, in 1914.
