Peter Barkworth won a scholarship to RADA in 1946 and had a successful career in film and television, as well as on stage. He won two BAFTA awards. He taught acting technique at RADA in the 1950s and 1960s and was a member of the Council at RADA for 16 years in the 1980s and 1990s.
