This painting was acquired in 1999, along with a number of limited edition prints, to be hung in the Ivy dining room in Oak House (not to be confused with the new Ivy Arts Centre at the University). He subsequently held an exhibition in the Lewis Elton Gallery in December 2001. Frank Taylor was born and brought up in Berkshire. He studied Fine Art at Cardiff and Brighton Colleges of Art after working for a silkscreen printer producing posters for the music industry.
