The original of Annigoni's famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was completed in 1956 and hangs in Fishmongers Hall, London. This was also the year that Sir William Lyons (the founder of Jaguar Cars) was knighted for services to export and the time of the Queen's visit to Jaguar Cars.
