A figure of a bugler, with his left leg raised on rocks, in battle dress, and with great coat open, represented in the act of sounding a bugle. The sculpture is set within ten steps at the entrance to the garden and mounted on a chamfered stone plinth with mortar shell cases set at the top of each corner.
