This portrait hangs in the bedroom at The Mansion House used then and now by the Kings of Norway when they visit Newcastle. 'Somerville' as a signature is only just discernible in the bottom right-hand corner.

This is apparently an exact copy of the original of 1931, which hangs in the great hall of the nearby Royal Grammar School of Newcastle upon Tyne. A 1932 copy once hung in the boardroom of Sir Arthur Munro Sutherland's Free Trade Wharf Co. Ltd in London.
