This picture shows an elderly Lubbock, reclining in a chair. It is a replica of a painting done for the Phoenix Assurance Co. It is an impressive painting and it is particular apt that this portrait of Lubbock hangs in the Museum, looking out over the Great Hall, as the Bromley Museum started in 1965 from the Lubbock collection.
