A tomb chest with effigies of Sir Thomas Hungerford, mailed, head resting on helm, feet on lion and his wife Joan Lady Hungerford in cloak and mantle, head upon cushion, feet on two dogs. The work is surrounded by elaborate wrought iron railings that were part of Margaret Lady Hungerford's redecoration scheme of the later 17th century. The tomb was re-erected c.1820–40. The repainting of the tomb chest is from the late 18th–19th century.
